Bali TOP 10 BEACHES
1. Bingin Beach
Bingin beach is great for the surfer dudes but it also has rock formations and calm rock pools to float in. It has awesome sea-cliff hotels to stay at as well, such as Bale @ Bingin.
2. Padang Padang beach
15k IDR ($1 USD) eentrance, there’s lots of monkeys but it’s an awesome walk down through a cave leading to calm, blue waters. You can stay at a cliffside hotel as well, Le Cliff Bali is one of them.
3. Suluban beach aka Blue Point beach
There’s a steep, 100m walk down to this beautiful beach but boy is it worth it. Suluban beach is one of our favourites with amazing cliffs, rock coves, and blue water. If you can, try got at low tide. Entrance is free and above Suluban beach is the famous Singlefin beach bar.
4. Nyang Nyang beach
This beach is truly peaceful. It’s a long white sand beach with thick green bush behind you. It’s not overly commercialized either. Great for a run, coral reef snorkeling or just relaxing. You can drive your bike right down to the beach and entrance is free.
5. Karma beach
Nestled at the bottom of a huge cliff is a beautiful blue water beach. There’s only way way to get down and that’s with a rollercoaster! Just joking, it’s a very slow but steep cable car type of thing and it totally adds to the whole experience. There’s a beach bar at the bottom that has great food and drinks too, volleyball and loungers. You’ll have to pay a big entrance fee (not sure the current price) but it goes towards your meal.
6. Pantai Melasti beach
This is our favourite beach bar/beach in Uluwatu. The water is blue as hell, sand is white, vibes are great and Palmilla Bali has a pool, loungers and awesome music. All round, a great day spent down there. There is a minimum spend but get some friends together and split the daybed price.
7. Amed beach
For the best views of Mount Agung, black sand beaches and some of the best diving/snorkeling on the island - head to this sleepy fishing village of Amed.
8. Pasut beach
This is the darkest black sand we’ve seen on the island and a popular beach for those rad motorbike on the beach photos, or any photos for that matter! Entrance is free.
9. Batu Bolong beach
A super popular beach amongst the digital nomads and expats in Canggu. Make sure to come here at sunset time for all the dogs and some cheap sundowners from the locally owned beach bars.
10. Seminyak beach
You’ll almost certainly end up at this beach without even trying but this is where you can do beginner surf lessons and Double Six beach at sunset has iconic photo opportunities like the above photograph.
