The BEST Travel Insurance

The BEST Travel Insurance - AND THEY COVER COVID-19!

We have been wanting to write this blog post for a long time but we didn’t because we hadn’t claimed any large amounts from our travel insurance before and we certainly didn't want to promote a service that we hadn't used properly yet.

That was until Covid-19 hit and we were forced to book an emergency evacuation flight home from Bali Indonesia to South Africa. Those flights were $1400 each, one way. I know - that’s crazy expensive right?! In a normal world, we would never have paid that much for a flight, but because Safety Wing gave all of their customers full coverage for political evacuation flights, we went ahead and booked the flights. Fast forward a few months later, we’re in South Africa, safe and sound with our families during this horrible pandemic and the best part is - Safety Wing reimbursed us for those awfully expensive flights…in full!

That obviously gives us full confidence in sharing this travel insurance with our followers. We now know how extremely valuable it is to have a travel insurance, especially in 2020. Not just any insurance though, you need to have a travel insurance that keeps to it’s promises (we all know some insurance companies will try any excuse not to pay out), you need an insurance with good customer service, great coverage, and a low installment every month with the option to cancel anytime. Safety Wing offers all of this AND, the best part is they now cover COVID-19 for new policies purchased! Here’s a basic breakdown of their Nomad Plan - the plan that we’re on:
